On Friday, April 22, agents from the Port-au-Prince Police Station arrested Johnson Pierre Louis and Amos Saint Fleur.

These two individuals had the practice of demanding the payment of a large sum of money from people wanting to cross the Martissant area so as not to be attacked by bandits.

According to initial information, Johnson Pierre Louis and Amos Saint Fleur, to carry out their racketeering, worked closely with armed groups in Martissant.

They were placed in police custody pending the legal outcome of their case.
