Following an alert launched by the Departmental Center for Operational Intelligence (CDRO - Nord) "Yòyò", as he is known, a "dreadful" bandit was arrested at Grande Rivière du Nord during a police patrol carried out jointly with the Commissioner Leriche Jean Richard.

"Yòyò" was actively wanted by the Central Department Police for his involvement in acts of kidnapping, robbery, rape, burglary and theft of motorcycles in the Central Plateau.

Before being transferred to Hinche for other offenses with which he is charged, he will be auditionné by the Departmental Service of Judicial Police (SDPJ - North).

In addition, in Madeline, SOS Village area, (North Dept.) two bandits were fatally injured in exchanges of fire with the Police, 5 others were arrested (Androny Casséus (23 years old), Joseph Ricardo (25) , alias "Kado", Rudson Joncky Jeewood (26), Jean-Baptiste Eliphète (39) and Dudrot Ychelet (39) and 2 homemade firearms, seized.

These individuals accused of involvement in acts of assassination, spoliation of land and association of criminals.
