It was in an atmosphere charged with emotion that close relatives and work colleagues came to show their attachment and respect for this 27-year-old police officer, cowardly shot dead by armed bandits at Carrefour Marassa on 15 last June. At this tribute ceremony, Acting Commander-in-Chief Frantz Elbé was represented by Divisional Commissioner Jean Maurest Étienne, Director of Staff of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) accompanied by a delegation from the police institution in particular composed of close collaborators of the deceased assigned to the Directorate of Traffic and Road Police (DCPR).
