In order to continue to provide quality service to the population, the National Ambulance Center (CAN) recently organized training on the use of 10 new ambulances https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-36664-haiti-news-zapping.html received from the Ministry of Health and funded by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).

During this training, 61 employees, including 24 nurses, 12 drivers and 25 first aiders from the CAN ambulance fleet, followed modules focusing on special features not existing in current fleet ambulances, vehicle and engine components, vehicle safe and correct use of equipment, among other things...

With this reinforcement of the vehicle fleet (100 ambulances), the CAN hopes to be able to serve a greater number of people in the event of an emergency.
