iciHaiti - Insecurity: Armed individuals attack a Caribe Tours bus, 2 injured

Friday, August 5 around 5:30 p.m. heavily armed individuals opened fire on the F-009 bus of the Dominican Company Caribe Tours, which was carrying several passengers, as it crossed Croix-des-Bouquets in the direction of Pétion-ville.
The hostess and one of the passengers were shot and the bus bears the marks of several projectile impacts.
However, the bandits failed to stop the bus and rob the passengers, the driver José Luis Zapata, having accelerated with all the power of his vehicle and managed to escape them with his passengers and reach the terminal in Pétion-ville.
The injured were taken to a hospital.
