iciHaiti - Meyotte : Upcoming opening of the Vocational Training Center
As a prelude to the official launch of the new school year and vocational training September 5, 2022, Jean Ronald Joseph, the Director General of the National Education Fund (FNE) visited the Professional Training Center of Meyotte (CFPM) before the inauguration of the construction works partially financed by the FNE and to assess the needs to make the center functional in relation to its reception capacity.

The CFPM comprises four large buildings, offering various training courses, among others in the areas of building construction, hydraulic sanitary installation (plumbing), electrical engineering, painting, accounting, sewing, etc...

At the request of the Director of CFPM, additional support from the FNE will provide the center with office supplies for the administration, as well as training equipment (computers, sewing machines, etc...)

This visit also highlighted the need to provide the campus with an alternative and renewable energy system in order to solve the recurring problems of power cuts.

Currently, the Professional Training Center of Meyotte (CFPM) welcomes around a hundred students, 30% of whom are girls, divided into groups of 20 or 30 students.
