As such, a new security manager has just been recruited, whose mission is to develop and implement a new security system to ensure the protection of the PIC. The Park has officers from the Motorized Intervention Brigade Corps (CBIM) who carry out regular patrols inside the Park and also criss-cross certain roads during rush hour. This police presence is reinforced by the creation of closer links with the police stations of Caracol, Trou-du-Nord, Terrier Rouge, Limonade and with the Departmental Unit for Maintaining Order (UDMO) in the North-East. But also by upgrading security guards. The PIC works jointly with the General Directorate of the National Police of Haiti (PNH), which, if necessary, is ready to provide it with agents specialized in maintaining order and crowd management.
