iciHaiti - Demonstration : Attack of the TNH, considerable damage

The Directorate General of the National Television of Haiti (TNH) brings to the attention of the public in general and viewers in particular that its premises were the target of a group of demonstrators during the day of Thursday, September 15, 2022 where "Considerable damage was recorded including the burning of three vehicles, two of which belong to employees of the institution."

During this attack, "the vandals also smashed the windshields of other vehicles parked in the yard before taking equipment, including batteries that were used to power the television’s electrical backup system."

While deploring this assault which paralyzes the operation of the public service channel, the Directorate General of the TNH promises to spare no effort in order to resume its programming as soon as possible.
