iciHaiti - Croix-des-Bouquets : Resumption of gang warfare at least 12 dead

On Saturday October 22, 2022, violent armed clashes took place in the town of Croix-des-Bouquets, between the men of the Torcel gang commanded by Innocent Vitel'Homme alias "Vitelom" and those of the "400 Mawozo" gang commanded by Wilson Joseph alias "Lanmo San Jou".
Formerly allied, the two gangs are now in a frontal conflict over territory. An urban guerrilla that has already killed more than a dozen people on both sides since Saturday...
Due to the violence of these new clashes, residents have started to abandon their homes, particularly in street Falaise and street Nouailles, and to seek refuge with relatives in other towns.
