iciHaiti - Venezuela : Haiti donates food to the victims of Las Tejerías

Following the landslide of October 8, 2022 in the city of Las Tejerías located in the State of Aragua (Central Venezuela), the Ambassador of Haiti Lesly David, on behalf of the Haitian people, handed to Ernesto Villegas, Minister of Culture to help the victims of Tejerías a "modest" batch of non-perishable foodstuffs : tuna, sardines, cereals, oil, pasta, rice, sweet cereals, plates and glasses.

Minister Ernesto Villegas thanked the solidarity of the Government of Haiti.

Ambassador Lesly David did not fail to recall, during this donation, that Venezuela "has always been the first when his country needed it."

Let's remember that this landslide in Venezuela caused the death of 54 people.
