Following intelligence work, agents of the Dominican police, attached to the OCN-Interpol of Santo Domingo, proceeded to the arrest, on December 24, 2022, of a Haitian identified as Lerby Belus (36 years old) dangerous member of the "400 Mawozo" actively wanted by the Haitian authorities.

Lerby Belus, was arrested in the Dominican Republic on the Eastern Highway, near the La Romana tollbooth, while traveling in a Hyundai Sonata car, registration A976730.

According to the statement, during the arrest, four passports belonging to different people, a driver's license 00389-Ac, a debit card, a mobile phone, as well as a suitcase containing city clothes and 2,450 US dollars were seized.

Lerby Belus was handed over to the Haitian authorities for the corresponding legal purposes.
