Following the deployment of the new security plan developed by the National Police of Haiti (PNH), the Divisional Commissioner Daniel Compère, Departmental Director of the South, accompanied by his deputy Pierre Michelet Louis-Jeune and other police officers, proceeded, on December 22 to a deployment in the city of Les Cayes, in order to be closer to the population, on the occasion of the end of year celebrations.

A police patrol on motorcycles traveled the town of Les Cayes up to Quatre Chemins. Citizens applauded the presence of the police whose presence is intensifying at the level of the department of the South.

During their presence on the streets, the police carried out routine checks in order to continue to better protect the lives and property of the population.
