During a police operation in Dival, (commune of Croix-des-Bouquets) 3 armed bandits members of "400 Mawozo" have been fatally injured during an exchange of fire with the police. The police recovered a rifle, M-16, during this operation where a policeman was also injured.

Tuesday, January 3rd, 2023:

An individual was fatally injured following a shadowing carried out by the Bon-Repos Intervention Brigade in the "tibob" and "nan pitimi" area. The two other individuals accompanying him managed to escape. A black Haojin brand motorcycle without license plate was seized by law enforcement.

According to information available to the Police, these individuals are part of the gang operating in Canaan and are specialized in acts of theft, rape, kidnapping, robbery and hijacking of goods trucks.
