iciHaiti - PNH : An influential member of the gang «Ti Makak» killed

Maçon Silencieux, an influential member of the "Ti makak" gang involved in several kidnappings in Laboule and Thomassin, was fatally injured in exchanges of fire with the National Police of Haiti (PNH).

Moreover, in the clashes between members of this gang and the PNH at Thomassin 32, three other individuals were fatally injured, an assault rifle and 4 vehicles including a motorcycle were seized. 3 police officers were also injured in the operation and taken to a hospital center to receive the treatment required by their condition.

The PNH informs that large-scale operations will continue in high-risk neighborhoods to neutralize all bandits who engage in criminal activities including assassinations and acts of kidnapping followed by kidnapping.
