During an operation carried out by the Police, in Tabarre 60, 3 bandits were mortally wounded in exchanges of fire, 2 weapons and a motorcycle were also seized.

The Police carried out this intervention, following a telephone call from a local resident reporting heavily armed individuals who had burst into the home of a Justice of the Peace.

A patrol was quickly dispatched to take control of the situation. Given the scale of the event, two units from the Intervention and Research Brigade, a Departmental Unit for Maintaining Order) from Croix-des-Bouquets and a SWAT team arrived as reinforcements on the scene.

Result of this operation:
- 3 bandits were mortally wounded in the exchange of fire with the police;
- 1 AR15 A3 assault rifle serial #: LBU021358, 1 9mm caliber pistol, serial #: 1483283 and a black Cross motorcycle, Loncin brand, were recovered.
