A patrol from the Departmental Unit for Maintaining Order (UDMO) of Mirebalais (Central Dept.) proceeded in the Ledier zone to the arrest this week of Jean Robert Annas (23 years old) native of Lascahobas and Johnson Decle (26), from Thomassique who were on board a bus bound for Thomassique.

Jean Robert Annas and Johnson Decle were arrested for attempted murder, armed robbery, illegal possession of firearms and criminal association. Let's remember that these two individuals armed with a 38 caliber revolver opened fire on Kendel Bazil (20) to steal his motorcycle on January 16th. Leaving their victim for dead, they went the same evening to Belladère to bring the stolen motorcycle to an accomplice Junior Boyoko, so known, specialized in the trafficking of stolen objects.

Very early Thursday, January 19, 2023, a patrol went to Belladère with the aim of arresting Junior Boyoko who had already fled. The police arrested two of his accomplices.

It should be noted that the victim of the theft of his motorcycle is currently receiving the care required by his injuries and his life is out of danger.
