Sunday January 22, 2023, during an operation carried out by the Police officers of the Office for the Fight against Narcotics Trafficking (BLTS) on detachment in the North, the notorious drug trafficker Jicson Jacques, alias "Ézéchiel", living in Bas aviation, locality dependent on the Commune of Cap-Haitien, was arrested at his home.

During a search carried out by the police of his home, according to the legal report of the Justice of the Peace of the southern section of Cap-Haitien, the following objects were discovered and seized :

Two hundred grams (200g) of cocaine, preliminarily tested positive;
One five hundred kilograms (1.5 kg) of marijuana that tested preliminarily positive;
One million one hundred fifty-two thousand four hundred gourdes (1,152,400 Gourdes);
Four thousand seven hundred and forty-one dollars (4,741 US dollars);
A Sigsauer 9mm caliber pistol and a 10-round magazine
A 2014 Toyota 4 runner brand vehicle,
