As part of the 4th International Day of Education, celebrated in Haiti on Tuesday January 24, 2023, around the theme "Education, Food and School Well-being" Nesmy Manigat, the Minister of National Education took the opportunity to honor the laureates in the 2022 state exams during a ceremony organized at the Karibe convention center in Pétion-ville).

They are 8 national laureates of the 2022 baccalaureate, the 9th fundamental year, the Family Education Center and the teacher training college to have been distinguished by the ministry at this educational celebration. But in reality, they were four to attend this ceremony which brought together government officials, many actors in the education sector.

Miguel Fleurijean, the Director of Secondary Education, addressing the winners, showed the importance of the renovated Secondary and the positive results that are already recorded there in the system "Dear winners, by honoring you today, we are not doing than to honor a whole Nation. It is the combined work and effort of a community that has sacrificed hours, days and years to think of you. You have answered the call and here you are at the throne of glory.

List of National State Exams Laureates :

Angelica Victoria Pierre, 9th year fundamental student, from the renovated Foyer d’enseignement school in Mirebalais (Centre);
Tayina Anastacia Krystel Senate, from the SMP series (Sciences, Mathematics, Physics) which comes from the Institution Flore in the South department;
Lordwish Sylvaince from the Institution Bon Pasteur de Musac de La Vallée de Jacmel (South-East), from the SES (Economic and Social Sciences) series;
Dimitry Benoit having done the LLA series (Language, Letters, Arts) at the Mazenod College Seminary (South);
Laurens Stevenson Cador having done the SVT series at Saint-Eugène de Mazenod College (North-East);
Natalie Amazon for the Center for Family Education (CEF) housed at the Charlotin Macadieu National School in Croix-des-Bouquets;
Valanca Ductan for the pre-school section of the ENI (Normal School of Teachers);
Lucson Petit-Frère for the fundamental section of the ENI.

In addition to scholarships for private universities and automatic admission to the State University of Haiti (following the memorandum of understanding between the two institutions) and to Public Universities in the Region (UPR), they have received other bonuses (laptop, books) and financial support to continue their training.
