On tour in Cap-Haitien, Luz Kurta Cassandra François, the Minister of Tourism took the opportunity to visit the first amusement park "Lakay Fun World" of Cap-Haitien. This new amusement park (inaugurated at the end of December 2022) is the second park in Haiti (after that of Tabarre) of the two Haitian entrepreneurs of the diaspora Paul Jean Joseph and Sanon Watson.

Located at # 445, route de Bel-Air, Cap-Haitien, "Lakay Fun World" is the new paradise for children. Inaugurated at the end of December 2022, the park includes 9 carrousel and several traditional board games for young people and adults.

Minister François took the opportunity to encourage the two entrepreneurs for this initiative which diversifies the leisure activities of the city of Cap and the North department in general. These investments are to be encouraged in other regions of the country because the construction of tourist and leisure infrastructures quickly contributes to the creation of jobs and the economic development of the country.

Should be noted that the Park of Cap Haïtien has created about fifty direct jobs (administrative staff, technicians, nurses, cleaners and security guards among others.)
