6 Haitians wanted for the murders of police officers in Haiti, who entered the Dominican Republic illegally to escape the Haitian authorities, were arrested by Dominican soldiers.

These individuals who entered Dominican territory through the municipal district of La Colonia, in Duvergé, in the Province "Independencia" were captured by a military patrol accompanied by members of the S-2 of the Military Intelligence Directorate.

“They are suspected of being members of an armed gang and of involvement in the deaths of police officers in Haiti,” indicates an information note from the Dominican army. The 6 detainees were taken to the Malpasse management base, which handed them over to the Haitian Border Police (PoliFront).
