The Group of Ambassadors of Latin America and the Caribbean (GRULAC) paid tribute to the Ambassador of Haiti Louis Marie Saintil, at the end of his mission to the Kingdom of Spain.

Ambassador Saintil was honored for his outstanding contribution to the promotion of diplomatic relations and academic cooperation between Haiti and Spain.

During his tenure, he signed more than 30 academic cooperation agreements between Haitian and Spanish universities https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-31445-haiti-spain-first-academic-and-scientific-inter-university-cooperation-agreement.html ; it allowed the arrival in Spain of more than 100 Haitian scholarship students; signing of an agreement between the Haitian and Spanish diplomatic academies https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-38395-haiti-news-zapping-video.html ; created the "Prix femme et francophonie" in Madrid; Training sessions for Haitian journalists; extension of the bilateral fund among others...
