Following information held by the Police of the Center Department concerning the presence of a stolen vehicle circulating in the town of Hinche, Me Ronald Pierre Gessicot, Lawyer at the Bar of Hinche, was arrested by the Police.

Following his arrest Me Ronald Pierre Gessicot, was brought before the judicial authorities for the legal consequences. According to the police, Me Ronald would be involved in a network of theft of vehicles based in Santo Domingo.

The stolen vehicle, a black Toyota 4-Runner, registered G 598001, belongs to the Dominican company "Rent-a-car Carrasco de la Rosa" and was allegedly rented by an American citizen identified as Martes José Antonio. Note that this vehicle should have been returned to the rental company on February 17, 2023.

Regarding this network of car thieves, several other individuals are actively sought by the Police for their alleged involvement in other cases of vehicle theft.
