iciHaiti - Infrastructures : Launch of the construction of the RNO501 (Port-de-Paix / Anse à Foleur)

The Ministry of Public Works under the direction of the Engineer Angelo Horacius Departmental Director of the North-West and the Engineer Jean Denis Lovince, Project Director, launched this week the construction project of the RNO501 (Port-de-Paix / Anse à Foleur).

Technicians are hard at work. The start of work has begun at Morne Vent from where 60,000 m3 of cuttings will have to be extracted, including rock cuttings.

In addition, maintenance and repair work is underway at the same time, on the section of road linking Saint Louis du Nord to Port-de-Paix. These interventions, in bituminous concrete, extend over a distance of 23.5 km.
