Canada said it was proud to partner with the Coordination of Organized Women of the Commune of Aquin (COFOCA), in the "Women's Voice and Leadership" Program aimed at improving the lives of women and girls in Haiti by promoting the rights of women and their economic empowerment through professional mentoring and training in agricultural processing:

By raising awareness of access to services and increasing the supply of services for women victims of gender-based violence;

By providing a space of community and support through a club for young mothers;

By forging a violence-free future in Aquin and surrounding communities by engaging youth in education, training and community awareness of positive masculinity.
