Following his recent work mission in France, lnrico Dangelo Néard the Director General of the National Library of Haiti (BNH) had the pleasure of exchanging, via zoom, with a delegation from the National Library of France (BNF) on avenues for cooperation between the two institutions.

The reception at the BNF of Watson François, an employee of the BNH, within the framework of the Residence Culture program is the first concrete manifestation of this partnership initiated by lnrico Dangelo Néard.

The International Organization of La Francophonie (OIF), like the BNF, of which Haiti is one of the priorities, has granted the latter funding to support Haiti in putting together a digitization project file in order to submit it to potential donors.

The BNF and the OIF want the BNH to benefit from this system. At the end of this process, if the financing is obtained, the BNF proposes to accompany the BNH in the realization of the project.
