The Divisional Commissioner Frantz Mathurin, Departmental Director of the North, carried out this week a 3-day inspection tour at the level of the Central Police Station of Cap-Haitien and the Sub-Police Stations of the department, the objective of which was to evaluate their functioning.

By carrying out this tour which involved, in addition to the Central Police Station, the sub-police stations of Barrière Bouteille, Pont Neuf, Haut du Cap and Bel Air.

Complaints related to the work environment, the state of mind of the police officers, and the adequate equipment they need to carry out their mission, have been taken into account.

At the end of this tour, the Divisional Commissioner Mathurin promised that the complaints collected will be forwarded to the High Command of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) in order to provide these police courts with the necessary equipment allowing the police to continue to fight more effectively against organized crime in all its forms in the North department.
