Friday, March 24, 2023, in the gardens of the Direction Nationale du Livre (DNL), Joseph Camy Dépas, Director General of the Ministry of Culture and Acting Director General of the DNL, proceeded to the award ceremony for the 2023 edition of the Francophonie dictation competition.

This ceremony was the occasion, after the verdicts of the jury to reward 11 young winners, girls and boys (3 from Port-au-Prince, 3 from the Jacmel Valley, 2 from Cabaret, 1 from Gros Morne and 2 from Saint Mark.

Port-au-Prince awards :

1st Prize: Bruno Widenie

2nd Prize: Fleury Raina

3rd Prize: Lima Luckensky

In addition to the intervention of the Director General, other personalities spoke on the occasion, in particular Wilson Paulémond Director of the Book of the DNL and Mrs. Marie Dieulène Alouidor the representative of the International Organization of the Francophonie for the Caribbean and the Latin America (OIF REP-CAL),

The Embassy of Canada was represented by Ms. Raïna Ntawigirira, Political Advisor.
