On Tuesday April 11, as part of the investigation into the assassination of President Jovenel Moïse, agents from the Criminal Affairs Office of the General Directorate of Judicial Police (DCPJ), supported by the Brigade for the Fight Against Vehicle and the Intervention and Research Brigade proceeded to the arrest in Delmas 41 of Mozart PREVOT (driver and henchman of ex-Senator Jhon Joël Joseph - INITE), following a warrant issued against him, for his alleged involvement in this assassination. During a search carried out at his home by the investigators, an ADP brand pistol, caliber 9mm, a compatible magazine filled with 12 cartridges and 3 motorcycles were found and seized.

Currently PREVOT is kept in custody at the General Directorate of Judicial Police (DCPJ) pending his appearance in court.
