iciHaiti - Gold Cup 2023 : Our Grenadiers will know their opponents today

As announced, the draw for the next edition of the Concacaf Gold Cup (June 16 to July 16, 2023) will be held this Friday, April 14, 2023 at the Westdrift Hotel in Los Angeles, California.

For this event, Haiti will be represented by national coach Jean Jacques Pierre who has just qualified the Grenadiers for the competition by flying over Group B of League B of the CONCACAF Nations League with 16 points out of 18 and ensure at the same time the rise in Ligue A for the next season 2023-2024 https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-39150-haiti-flash-our-grenadiers-crush-montserrat-[0-4]-and-qualify-for-the-gold-cup-2023-video.html

While waiting for the draw to take place this Friday, we know that Haiti in hat 2 will not be able to meet as opponents in the first round of the 2023 Gold Cup : Panama, Jamaica and Guatemala (which are in the same hat). But our grenadiers will face one of the top seeds (Mexico, United States, Canada and Costa Rica who are in hat 1). Pot 3 is made up of Honduras, El Salvador, Cuba and Nicaragua, while in Pot 4, Qatar as a guest, will be accompanied by the three teams that will come out of the play-offs to be held in the United States in from June 16th.
