Saturday, April 15, 2023, the North Police proceeded to Babiole, an area located in the southern part of Cap-Haitien, to the arrest of Luckenson Augustin (29 years old), for illegal possession of a firearm and robbery. Aboard a motorcycle without a license plate and accompanied by his accomplice Paul Julio (48), robbed money changers in the area.

Paul Julio was lynched by members of the population before the police could intervene... A justice of the peace of the southern section of Cap-Haitien was required for the legal finding of the lifeless body of Paul Julio.

A Taurus pistol, caliber 9mm, and the motorcycle were confiscated by the Police.
