7 years after the last school census, approximately 75% of schools in Haiti (public and private) have registered since March 27, 2023 on the online census platform of the Ministry of National Education, an essential prerequisite for renewing the license to run the school, have its accreditation and register its students for official exams.

This mandatory census will end on April 28, 2023. All schools that will not be registered will not be able, among other things, to have the authorization of the Ministry to register students for the State examinations : the official examination for the 9th year and the official exam for the end of high school.
