As part of the investigation opened into the kidnapping followed by the disappearance of Max Harry Titus, on May 10, 2023 near his home, the Cell Against Kidnapping (CCE) of the Central Directorate of Judicial Police (DCPJ) arrested Mondesir Evens, suspected of complicity after having taken possession of the SIM card of the victim's phone after his abduction.
Heard on the facts, he confessed that the act was committed by Limond Toussaint, the former priest and former Minister of Culture, who was accompanied by two other individuals in his vehicle.
