iciHaiti - Security : Recovery of a truck and 2 PNH assault rifles

The Artibonite Department Police are continuing their operations aimed at dismantling the "Kokorat San" gang, operating in Périsse, 1st communal section of Estère. A Blue Heaven Company truck and a pickup stolen by this gang were recovered during these operations, early in the morning of May 1st, 2023. Several members of the gang were also injured, in exchanges of fire with the Police.
The day before, the police recovered two assault rifles belonging to the institution following an exchange of fire between the police and a group of bandits from Grand Ravine. The bandits had seized these 2 weapons (Galil ACE21 serial 43103533, Galil AC22 serial 43103532) after the attacks against the Savanne Pistache antenna at Carrefour Feuilles where a policeman lost his life on November 10, 2022.
