By presenting the saber to the Haitian cadet, Rear Admiral Christian Marcelo TARAPOW, Director General for Training of the Argentine Army, gave a nod to the history of Haiti by recalling the enormous contribution of Alexandre Pétion, one of the Founding Fathers of the Fatherland, to the struggle for the liberation of the countries of Latin America.
