iciHaiti - Santo Domingo : Exhibition «Noailles Kanpe!» in the Colonial Zone
The Africamérica Foundation, beneficiary of a third-party grant from the "Kiskey’Art Kilti bay lanmen! Cultura solidaria" offers activities to the public in the Dominican Republic. This project implemented by FOKAL, is funded by the European Union and is part of the actions of the binational cooperation program "Convivencia, Ann Viv ansanm" (Haiti and Dominican Republic).

The Africamérica Foundation presents from June 15 to July 15, 2023 the exhibition "Adelante Noailles! (Noailles Kanpe!)” at the Galeríe "Bolos Arte y Artesanía" Colonial Zone C. Isabel La Católica 15 (Santo Domingo).

Visitors will discover the works of Edouard Claude Avril, Marie Guerlande Balan, Eneld Charles, Chrisnaïka Derosier, Jacques Eugène, Serge Jolimeau, Jean Eddy Rémy, all cut metal artists involved in the development of the community of the Village of Noailles in Croix -des-Bouquets.

On the sidelines of this exhibition, there will be screenings followed by a conversation with the Haitian director Arnold Antonin on June 26 and 27 at the Centro Cultural de España in Santo Domingo.

The objective of this exhibition is to strengthen relations between Haiti and the Dominican Republic through art and culture while increasing the visibility of the community of artists and artisans of the Village of Noailles.
