The Ministry of National Education has decided to temporarily revoke Philippe Decossard's teaching license because of his arrest by the courts for raping one of his underage students in a school in the town of Dichiti, in the department of Grand'Anse.

This decision is taken while waiting for the Public Prosecutor's Office to process the case and pronounce its verdict.

The Ministry takes this opportunity to encourage all educational agents to continue raising awareness on the implementation of the Code of Conduct in schools and all other documents that contain principles and regulations to combat violence against girls and boys in the school environment.
