iciHaiti - Culture : Launch of the oratorical competition

Under the direction of the Minister, Mrs. Emmelie Prophet Milcé, the Ministry of Culture launched an oratorical competition for young Haitians aged 17 to 25. This competition aims to offer these young people the opportunity to develop their self-confidence and allow them to express their personal visions on a specific subject.

On themes proposed in advance: Voodoo, feminism, heritage, environment, social media and human rights, candidates are invited to develop their thesis using a constructed, precise and elegant argument.

July 15, 2023 is the deadline for registrations.

This oratorical competition is intended to assess the candidate's ability to mobilize oratory techniques to leave a lasting mark in the minds of the public.

To register, candidates can send a video of one minute and 30 seconds on one of the proposed themes of their choice, while introducing themselves from the introduction to the address : info @culture.gouv.ht
