The Ministry of Culture salutes the meritorious work of the actors of the Haitian music industry on the occasion of the celebration of the Music Day (June 21).

The music day has been celebrated in more than 120 countries around the world for the past forty years. On this day, the Minister Emmelie Prophète Milcé recalled how important it is to support musical expression in Haiti and contribute to its popularization.

"The vocation of this Day for us in Haiti is to celebrate all the musical genres of the country and to highlight the different local and international musical colors.

In addition, the Ministry wants to encourage the work of actors in the Haitian music industry who participate in the promotion of our culture, our identity and the Haitian musical art to the general public."
