The march convened by various organizations for members of the Haitian diaspora participate on Sunday, July 9, 2023 in Santo Domingo, in order to demand to the international community a solution to the humanitarian and security crisis in Haiti is prohibited

The Ministry of the Interior and the Police warned that the general law on migrations #285-04, prohibits foreigners from organizing activities likely to undermine social peace, the security of citizens or the public order in the Dominican Republic.

The organizers of the Haitian march have announced that they will suspend this activity in the Dominican Republic after the ban from the Ministry of the Interior and the Police.
