iciHaiti - PNH : Arrest of a Police officer with 29,000 US dollars in his possession

As part of an operation carried out in conjunction with the customs authorities at the airport, officers from the Office of Financial and Economic Affairs (BAFE/ Central Directorate of Judicial Police) arrested at the arrival hall of Toussaint Louverture International Airport, Joseph Jackson, Police officer of the 30th promotion, who had in his possession 29,000 dollars in American currency.
An investigation was opened by the BAFE and a police custody measure was taken against the police officer for complicity in absconding, suspicion of laundering of assets from serious offences, influence peddling and contempt.
