From July 12 to 16, 2023, the Directorate of Health Promotion and Environmental Protection of the Ministry of Public Health is carrying out the workshop for the restructuring of the Public Hygiene service with the collaboration of DINEPA, of the Ministry of Trade and Industry via the Haitian Bureau of Standardization and other central and departmental directorates of the Ministry of Health.

This workshop revolves around the reorganization of the work of health officers, the development of new work tools such as the health inspection form and the introduction of the Public Health Certificate.

It is important to remember that the primary mission of the public hygiene service is to enforce the regulations relating to the protection of the population in terms of hygiene and health.
