"Following the analyzes and consultations and to give satisfaction to the various voices which were raised to ask for a truce during the exams [baccalaureate from July 31 to August 3rd, 2023], the public transport unions have decided to temporarily postpone the three days of national strike on another date that will be communicated soon" in order to allow the smooth running of the official baccalaureate exams which take place from July 31 to August 3rd, 2023. These trade unions emphasize that their demands remain unchanged : "the application of the decree of March 9, 1995, a 40% drop on each gallon of petroleum products; the restoration of peace and security in the country and the unblocking of roads; the realization of the targeted subsidy to alleviate the conditions of the population in public transport."
