Nesmy Manigat the Minister of National Education reveals that according to statistics, more girls participate in bac exams and do better than boys in each of the 10 departments, over the past 4 years.

Statistics:

Year 2018-2019:
Girls participants: 28,997 - success rate 43.38%
Boys participants: 25,951 - success rate 41.74%

Year 2019-2020:
Girls participants: 33,008 - success rate 42.62%
Boys participants: 28,743 - success rate 39.31%

Year 2020-2021:
Girls participants: 57,101 - success rate 30.17%
Boys participants: 48,972 - success rate 27.17%

Year 2021-2022:
Girls participants: 53,924 - success rate 32.75%
Boys participants: 47,603 - success rate 28.72%

Year 2022-2023
Girls participants: 57,345 - pending pass rate
Boys participants: 50,383 - pending pass rate
