iciHaiti - Humanitarian : Agape Flights continues to send supplies to Haiti despite the risks
Volunteers and staff from Agape Flights, a US Christian Aviation Ministry, this week loaded a plane bound for Haiti, despite a US State Department travel advisory to leave Haiti immediately https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-40386-haiti-flash-american-citizens-urged-to-leave-haiti-immediately.html

"No, no we’re not stopping," Pastor llen Speer, CEO of Agape Flights, said firmly. 1.4 tons of supplies including non-perishable food, household and personal items were delivered Friday, September 1st, 2023. Speer, has been with Agape for 13 years. He has experience in international missions and says the support will continue "Our decision is that our mission partners need us there for the very basic things that they can’t get there."

He asserts that the crews are vigilant, recalling that last year, one of their planes was set on fire, specifying "We go into secure locations, for the most part secure airports, and we’re in and out of there fairly quickly [...] But they really need us to get there."
