The Rectorate of the State University of Haiti informs that it had to adjust the status and salaries of a certain number of its teachers to take into account the work actually provided, under the provisions of the Charter of Rights and of the Duties of full-time professors at the UEH and the decree revising the civil service law.

This measure made it possible to free up the resources necessary to pay off debts contracted to other professors that the faculties concerned had difficulty honoring even though they provided and continued to provide effective work.

The UEH Rectorate recalls that administrative processes relating to the movement of personnel belonging to its decentralized entities do not originate in its central services.

The UEH Rectorate remains available to analyze, in consultation with the entities concerned, any complaints relating to errors or misunderstandings which could have crept into the process as provided for by the law and regulations governing the matter.
