iciHaiti - Justice : Start of criminal proceedings without jury assistance

The Ministry of Justice and Public Security (MJSP) and the Superior Council of the Judiciary (CDPJ) inform that criminal assizes without jury assistance began on October 30, 2023 in several jurisdictions in Haiti.
From Monday, November 6 and until Wednesday, January 31, 2024, these hearings intended to relieve prison congestion will take place throughout the national territory.
