iciHaiti - PNH : Kidnapping attempt foiled

Saturday November 11, 2023, a kidnapper identified as Mathurin Jérôme (47 years old) was fatally injured on street Lavaud during an intervention by the Haitian National Police (PNH) during a kidnapping attempt which took place in Lalue, not far from the Immigration and Emigration Service.
Informed of the attempted kidnapping, the police quickly cordoned off the area of downtown Port-au-Prince. Thanks to this device, Mathurin Jérôme's accomplices abandoned the vehicle to flee.
Inside the vehicle, the Police found on Mathurin Jérôme, who was driving the vehicle, a BRH badge, expired since 2020 and also ballistic helmets, bulletproof vests and black bags that prevent them from identifying the places.
