Wednesday, November 15, 2023, the Haitian National Police (PNH), with the help of the armored vehicles of the Departmental Unit for Maintaining Order (UDMO - West II) and those of SWAT, carried out the evacuation of emergency of 19 infants, several children, pregnant women and patients, from the Fontaine Duvivier hospital, located 50 meters from Cité Soleil caught in the heart of an urban guerrilla.

This intervention follows violent armed clashes between rival gangs for several days in this town, some of which are near the hospital
