iciHaiti - Economy : TOP 100 of the largest importers and tax payers in the country
The General Administration of Customs (AGD) has just published the list of the 100 largest importers (excluding oil companies) having paid the most taxes for the 2022-2023 fiscal year.

Customs ended the fiscal year with historic revenues of nearly 109 billion gourdes (108 billion 852 million) collected in 2022-2023, while the revenue forecasts set by the government were 90 billion.

TOP 3:
#1 Cristofferus S.A or Cristo S.A. with more than 60 billion Gourdes of imports and 13.6 billion in taxes;
#2 Caribbean Grain Company S.A. With more than 14.5 billion in imports and 2.9 billion in taxes;
#3 Tasha Store S.A, with more than 5.5 billion in imports and 2.3 billion in taxes

TOP 10 of the biggest tax payers (in Gourdes):
#1 Cristofferus S.A or Cristo S.A.: more than 13.6 billion;
#2 Caribbean Grain Company S.A. : more than 2.9 billion;
#3 Tasha Store S.A.: more than 2.3 billion;
#4 Sogedipa S.A. taxes: more than 1.8 billion;
#5 Brasserie Nationale D’Haiti S.A.: more than 1.6 billion;
#6 Huileries Haïtiennes S.A.: more than 1.6 billion;
#7 Madbrad S.A.: more than 1.5 billion;
#8 Riceco S.A.: more than 1.4 billion;
#9 Carribex S.A.: more than 1.2 billion;
#10 Valerio Canez S.A.: more than 1.2 billion.

Note that insecurity in Port-au-Prince and in the main provincial cities has slowed down economic activities. Some companies that were at the top of the list in 2021-2022 fell back in 2022-2023.
