Saturday, December 2nd, 2023, at Toussaint Louverture International Airport, customs agents arrested Julien Moïse, a Haitian-American suspect who was arriving in New York State on a commercial flight.

During the search of his luggage, customs officers discovered in his possession 265 ammunition of various calibers, 6 communication radios, a bulletproof vest, a surveillance camera system and $19,390 in American currency among other things which were seized.

Julien Moïse was placed in police custody at the DCPJ for legal proceedings, the customs service confirmed.
